When I attended Art School I originally intended to study Illustration but I became fascinated by photography and specialized in that discipline. I still have a great love of drawing and painting. I also became interested in the use of the image in different media and with the advent of the web and multimedia it is an area that I am most involved in my present work.

I have taught photography since 1984. Many people saw the replacement of the print with the digital image as the death of photography. However the photograph as a stand alone image is as influential, powerful and beautiful as it ever it was.
